Born in 2008, Wargasound was at first a recording project, before becoming a "kind of" regular music band. We quickly noticed how hard it was for us to try to get all the people together to play: it was not matching our idea of playing music . That's how the project changed to be more open: whoever was free may join to sing and play...
Being at first based in Barcelona,with people traveling, coming and going, Wargasound has become a nomadic project in 2010.
From this time, we've been traveling mostly through Europe, at two, three, six, and more people, playing in the streets, markets, giving concerts in all kinds of places; meeting people on the way, and dragging them into the wargalife! In 2010, there were even two Wargasound groups traveling at the same time in different places...
Around 2014, our concerts became participative: we started to hand out the lyrics to the audience so that people could sing along with us.
This naturally led us to animate workshops, starting in 2015, as to share more (great) time singing with the willing people...
